I was wondering if anyone can tell me if the adjustment on Home following is normally so severe.
My Home following is gone from 105,736 to 53,149.
Should I query it or do I suck it up?

I have no problem accepting it if it is normal.
Just wondering if it is a mistake that's all.
I think 10 or 20% would be acceptable but hey that's just my opinion.

Another quick question - has anyone had zero rate increases this week after winning.
Again this may be normal but I haven't seen it before. Thanks guys

in league three I lost around 14k on my home following (will confirm figure) over week 33 and week 1. I won one game and drew the other. I also won division one thus getting promoted. I raised with Steve expecting it to be a typo but I was told its a feature of the game and at the end of the season fans can fall away (even after being promoted....) Whilst 15k is not 50k its a similar percentage considering I went down from 38k to 24k ish. I would be interested to know what response you get.

I have also had a player go down from 32.3 to 31.6 after a win....

I'm not sure how the increases/decreases work but there's plenty of times I've had no increases, even after what I consider to be a good win.

On the flip side there's been times, too that I've had no decreases after a bad defeat.

Never paid attention to following figures. Not sure why we have followings of over 100k when we can only build to 80k.

you always lose home following from one season to the next its to do with the average attendance of the teams in the division you are joining or staying in its too balance it out im sure thats what steve said last time i asked this question

mine dropped from 102,680 to 78,754 quebac and anwick from 80.765 to 72,300

nothing to do wining or losing on week 1

League 1
Anwick Avengers (556) Cup Winners Season 12&13

Thanks for the reply's.
The average for the division makes sense.
Software has to have some parameters etc.
I'm happy with that explanation.

Your right Graham. Any Home following over 80,000 is a waste and I shouldn't be too long building it again hopefully.

well maybe not the average of the whole division maybe the software adjusts to balance of the division and teams dont start the season with like 120k and low teams start with 12k too much in balance maybe.

I think you are giving some very old software a lot of credit!

It’s probably all adjusted manually to a sensible amount.

Years ago before any end of season adjustments were made, some clubs reached a home following near 300,000!

So, i understand adjusting home following, especially down to 80-100k given the max capacity however my frustration is in league three I had 38k and i built my stadium accordingly, trying to get to 40k all seated to maximize gate receipts so I think its unfair to reduce mine back down to 24k. if its about it being the division average why not do that with ratings and bank balance then?

If it is all adjusted manually then I'm not thrilled about my Home Following going from 105,736 to 53,149.
When I stopped and thought about it for a moment - the average gate in Div 3 last year was quite low approx 20,000 to 25,000 at a guess. I doubt it is done by that average or I would have ended up with an even bigger loss!

Oh well I'm just going to accept it as I'm up to my eyes in non Summit stuff.
