I just want to apologise for the current delays in processing turns. It's something that hasn't been seen for a couple of years now but I am doing my best to keep them at a minimum.
It's due to family illness and I really don't want to put too much info onto a public forum as it's there forever but basically there are likely to be delays on a 3 week cycle for several months. What I will do is to try and adjust the deadlines to fit around hospital appointments / doctors / scans / blood tests etc etc etc when I know them but that may also be unreliable... for instance todays appointment was supposed to last 3 hours and ended up at 8 hours.
There will be gaps where I can catch up with all Leagues but in the meantime I would ask you to get turns in by the given deadline anyway as it may be better to process a league a day early (ie on the deadline day or within 24 hours... not a day earlier than the deadline!)... rather than delay it for several days.

I'm going to try and keep the traffic lights updated as best as I can with an 'expected to' status and then an actual status when I know I will get that League out on that day.
It should settle into a routine now that treatment has started yesterday, before that we were getting called in at a moments notice for appointments that last the best part of a day.

League 3 went out today. League 1 will go out this week sometime probably Weds but it won't have the deadline until Sat 21st.
In effect all Leagues have missed one turn and hopefully there won't be any delays that long again now that things have settled down.

I was wondering if it's one of those occasions where it's gone out but not updated on the lights.
I agree, Gaz. Suspend the game for a while and nobody has to worry about it.

I'd go along with what the guys have said. If a break helped it's cool with me too. If I'm honest I think it would be better. I keep checking the lights to see if they have moved on. I can quite easily put the game out of my head for awhile if we had a postponement. I'm not sure it would help though. It looks like the unpredictable time delays with appointments etc causes unexpected delays. Don't worry Steve. You are doing your best. It's been said a few times - family first. I'm happy to go with whatever suits you best.

I don't think I need to suspend the game. I can keep everything going out with minimal delays, maybe two week turnaround instead of the 10 days. League 2 went out today, League 3 Week 33 should be out on Monday as per the traffic lights.
If I feel I can't cope I will halt the game for a period but Summit doesn't really take that long to get done once I set my mind to it (that's probably the tricky part heh) and tbh it's like taking a break anyway so as long as I am able to be physically here in the Summit office I would rather process Summit than do other stuff

Thanks for the support and Justins post earlier. As I say I don't really want to post too much here because it's there forever.
Suffice to say that my wife keeps reacting badly to treatment and ends up in hospital which is a fair old drive each way so it's tricky to get anything done when she is there, not enough hours.
She is back home at the moment so I am rushing to get some work done as she is due to start another treatment cycle on Weds so fingers crossed that will go better as they are reducing the dose.
Really apologise for the delays but I know you all understand Thanks.... Steve
