Firstly, thanks for the 9 of you that did this and the 8 of you that saw it through.
Fantastic end to the competition and the world Cup itself.
Anyway, I've checked the results and I've checked them twice and I can't separate the top two.
Michael - 118

I didn't decide on a way to separate a tie so will pop a couple of turns each when I pay next.
I will say Michael got most initial predictions with 3 and joint most randoms with 6.
But it's not about the winning

I did forget to add there were 171 goals and a few of you got very close.
If there were 2 more goals Tricky would have nicked it with the +/-2.

Thanks Graham, it made a great competition
The World Cup was fantastic, obviously it should not have been in held in Qatar for their pathetic rules on lots of things, thy are their rules and that’s their problem, with that aside the football was pulsating at times and the final was the best I’ve seen
I expect those lovely stadiums that took many lives will now become derelict or knocked down
It was a good tournament, not really the usual problems with drunkenness and fighting so that was a plus

Well done Michael and Nathan in winning what was a hard fought competition and I echo everyone’s sentiments in thanking Graham in running this in what has been a very quiet time on the forum.

Sorry I quit halfway through I just had so much going on with my uncle passing away and funeral on 23rd December. Then have my sister in the middle of getting a divorce and everytime they are agueing I get them 2 kids dumped on me as they don't want them being there whilst there arguing. I've also got the ongoing problem with my grandad who is in and out of hospital all the time and is very unwell.
Anyway we'll done on running the competition and well done to the winners.
