I’ve definitely enjoyed the prediction leagues for previous major tournaments so hopefully we can get a few more signed up.

I’ll draft up some rules and pop them on this thread in the next day or so.

Below is a summary of how things will run. I’ll start a thread for the pre-tournament predictions in the next few days.

Predictions will fall into the following categories. I will aim to post each new round of predictions at least 3 days before the start of the relevant round.

A. One round of pre-tournament predictions - final list TBD but to include categories along the lines of tournament winner, top scorer etc. 4 points per correct answer.

B. One round of predictions per round of games, split into two parts.

(i) 5 predictions per round of games on random categories (e.g. number of corners in a specific game, number of yellow cards in a game). 2 points per correct answer.

(ii) Score predictions for each game of the round. 2 points for correct score, 1 point for correct result (i.e. wrong score, but correct winner or draw identified).

Final

All predictions to be submitted before kick off of the first game of each round.

Leaderboard will be published at the end of each round.

Prize credits (generously offered by Steve) to be distributed as follows:
1st place = £50
2nd place = £30
3rd place = £15
4th place = £5
