I know some will think it's early, some may think it's already too late.... But I've just finalised my code which does a budget model, stadium development model and player development/age regressions for season 7 (next season) in League 3. I thought I'd spent carefully so far and was preparing well for the next season. Now, budget-wise I'm looking at a fairly thin margin for error and that's if things go to plan, and we know things don't.
The more I play this game the more respect I have for those who have success year in, year out. Congratulations to those who've been there and done that.

Everyone plays as they want to but I'm not sure how much a spreadsheet can predict in advance. Win matches. It means your home following ie crowds and income goes up and expand your stadium ( as a new player) to fit them all in. Maybe it isn't that simple?

I used a simple excel spreadsheet to plan my budget and stadium expansion when I first started as I realised it was the key source of income in the early stages of a team and it was very useful and really helped me maximise revenue for both of my teams.
No code though as I wouldn’t know where to start so fair play Bryce!

Absolutely! If something helps you with the game and your enjoyment of it then that's brilliant. I'm the same as Michael. I wouldn't have a clue about code. Pen and paper for me but fair play Bryce if you find it helpful. Best of luck with the implementation of it

Hi Steve. It depends. A good number of things in the game are almost entirely random and therefore way beyond the understanding of a tinkerer like me. I have one function with a 95% prediction value, which is useful for indication only - but even then, it starts to throw in a bizarre result or two. I have a few functions which are over 99.8% accurate and above 99% you can start to rely on it. You certainly can do something very similar using pencil, squared paper - well, a lot of squared paper, ruler and 'line of best fit', if so inclined.
Thanks Michael/Darren. I've got to utilise what skills I have, because I'm trying to play catch up with successful managers like yourselves.
