as you are aware I go to most worthing matches home and away
We finished 3rd in the ryman South after a cracking season and had our play off semi final v hyth town on Tuesday 26 April and thrashed them 7-0
Today was the final v faversham and we won 3-0
Next season it's the ryman premier,thoroughly deserved after all this seasons effort
I'm ecstatic

Cheers it was,when the new owner took over at the start of the season we were getting 220 people in,now averaging 600
Tuesday 948 for semi final
Saturday 1889 for final

I announce teams,play music,do the web pages,help out generally with the running of clubs match day stuff
I've been through ten years of thin thin thin,yesterday was thick,awesome,I had a tear in my eye,I was so happy
The only problem was that when the presentation was done the bloke that didn't even know the players names,the history of the club,he just provided the speakers as ours went wrong a few weeks ago took over,did the presentation and didn't even know the players names,I was livid,I told him he was a glory hunter
I think I've done my last announcments,I'm not bitter just happy we went up and look forward to watching from behind the goal

As some of you will know, non league football is my thing... I'm not involved in the administration side any longer as the politics can be something I can do without but good to see Worthing moving up.
I am content with going to grounds most weeks to take photos for the Non League Paper and running what is probably the most informative and intelligent site on the interweb discussing all things non league.

Non league is brilliant football, I followed Farnborough Town for a few years and it was awesome. (Now I follow under 13s with my son and it's also much better than top level professional footy).

It's not the clubs fault in anyway,tbh if they carry on hiring a P A system off of this guy then I won't be doing the announcing
