I just saw this review of our game online. Obviously been there a while but first time I saw it and I can't actually work out if it's a good review or not http://www.onlinegamesbay.com/.....mit-soccer
Any more out there?

It sounds like some of the discussions we have on here. Yes it’s more expensive and slower than some online / browser based games but that’s what it’s here for in a way, to provide that retro feel. It’s not a bad review at all

I'd be happy enough with that review to be fair. It's been quite awhile since the turn fee was £3 so the piece would appear to be written a few years back. Overall it was quite complimentary I thought.
In an ideal world a few software tweaks would be fantastic but it's not a runner I guess, without breaking it!

I think it was an overview from someone who hadn't played it. When you start looking into this game, it's way too complex to be accurately described as:
' offers all the basics options (selecting lineup, tactics, direct transfer offers), but also few additional options,...'
since the 'few additional options...' have considerable impact upon playing the game and it's a game of build and balance. OK, it's not perfect but it's rather like most of the better pass-times which is to say: the more you look into it, the more there is to master.

I would say that's either a positive view, or adjacent to being positive. Ironically the format of the review website looked very retro.
The main criticism was the speed, which is part of why we play this as opposed to an instant-return computer game where you can play a season in a rainy afternoon.
I wonder how well they know the game if they haven't picked up the who development of players side of things?!
