I'm with you all. Everyone hates change, me included 
Trouble is the website didn't get an update since 2006 and must have looked sooooo dated to new managers. It really wasn't possible to integrate the old forum into the new site as the software was so old, was not supported and had never been upgraded itself since around that time.
All in all I will get used to the new forum, I'm sure you will all too if you don't fight it. If you have any issues no matter how silly they may seem just open a Support Ticket.
The new site looks good, works well and I am sure will attract new managers to the game which can't be a bad thing.

I think the new site is great! Don't get me wrong the old one was very easy to use but as Steve pointed out, was very outdated. No one like change when your used to something you've used for so long (who knows I might even work out how to do my signature at some point)
The most important thing is the game remains the same and no doubt the new managers attracted will love it!
Maybe a new social media page to add to the new site/forum for us all that use it to share?
I know social media is not everyone's cup of tea but we all use it or come across it at some point and if it helps promote the game still further that's great!?

I've never got into Facebook, I really don't want to know what my 'friend' had for dinner or what colour socks they are wearing today.
I do use Twitter for another site @NL_Matters but I really do wonder if a Summit Twitter account would be actually used much and if it did would it simply be a forum substitute? Would be interested to know what you all think.

That's a fair point. I shouldn't have stuck my ore in when your doing such a good job as it is.

stick your ore in all you want.... which sounds like a line from a Carry On film lol
I can't change the software right now... but everything else I can so if there are suggestions as to how things can be made better then they are very much appreciated.
I am sure if Michael reads this thread he will post signature instructions but I think most of it was covered in the welcome thread if you have a read of that

I only copped it now that Real Skegby are unmanaged. Jeez I'm slow especially as it is mentioned at the top of the turn. Hope this is just a missed deadline or something. It would be a shame to see such an experienced manager go!

Does anyone know what his intentions were for Stoke? I have them now as I thought he dropped them judging by his signature.
If he didn't drop them intentionally or will be wanting them back I will need to know before going ahead with any transfers etc or adding more game credit.

He didn't mention Stoke and that club has been unmanaged for more than one week. As far as I am concerned that is your club now so don't worry about that.
