I am gutted I honestly am. Being new to the league, I sucked a 1-1 draw from my 1st match away from home. Having returned my turn on time, it was returned to me 2 days past the deadline, so I will lose the next turn probably and I have missed out on new transfers. I paid in advance for several turns, but I am thinking of pulling out of the game already. It totally sucks and I feel a bit cheated.

I understand because I'm in the same boat. New to the game, paid in advance and also missed my turn. I submitted after the deadline and I'm not sure if it went through ok.

Undertand the circumstances, with it being so close to Xmas.

Maybe move to email if it persists. I think I will do that anyway as I'm away for most of Jan.

Stick with it mate. I will too. I'm sure it'll get better in the new year. The game itself isn't the issue. It's the postal service.

Email is best for me as my post turns up late all of the time

I know people like to get that envelope through the door but it just ain’t worth it these days, Royal Mail are overpriced and a crap service

I received all 3 leagues on my doormat today.

Thrust 519 - league 1.

Static Wanderers 585 - league 2.

Earthlings 1259 - league 3.

For my pennyworth I'm with Gary on this: it's not worth the 'thrill' of the envelope dropping; especially as it always drops late and often too late. Even when it's not too late to submit your turn, you may well miss out on deals between managers; which sometimes happen fairly early in the game cycle.
I changed very early on from post to email and never regretted it.
Whatever you decide, good luck with the game.

Never blamed the posties, when I was there there was a 92% rate for next day delivery on 1st class, that was down to the posties, we worked hard to try and lift that to 95%
