Hi i see some of u offering min and max for players, and things 1, do players have a max sell value and 2, how do u work them out ?

Max and min are easy enough mate. It's 20% either way so to work it out you just multiply the player value by 1.2 for max allowed or by 0.8 for min.
for example if a player is worth £10m you can sell him for either £12m max (£10m x 1.2) or £8m min (£10m x 0.8)

Yes the working makes sense however i find it odd. When there is no max on the aution market

Also then if i agree to pay 10 mil for a player valued at 17mil it wont go through ?

Hi Moz. I think the 20% rule is just a measure to attempt to prevent cheating. Eg Donor clubs taking on additional teams to take their best players for buttons.
I guess the Auction isn't open to such abuse and doesn't need as much regulation.

The auction is where the big money is spent as there are no limits max wise, only a minimum which is half the player value I think. It's only when dealing with other clubs that the 20% rule is relevant.

There is also a rule that managers can’t transfer players to another of their own clubs.

Correct. That move would get blocked. £13.6m would be the minimum you could buy the player for from another club.
As Mr G says, a bit different at auction as minimum price is set at 50% of value, so more chance of picking up a bargain there if you can see value in a player than no-one else bids for.
