I was just thinking after the summit "bloody Sunday " it would not only be nice to get back to normal but to know a little bit about the people behind the forum names . I will start the ball rolling, feel free to join in but if you prefer to remain a bit more private then that's fine .
My name is Colin Hammerton, I prefer to be called Hammy, Colin or Col and not mate, pal or buddy , I was brought up in Liverpool but now live in St Helens as I married a St Helens lass who thinks I'm mad paying out money to play a footie game that she thinks isn't real,of course it's real . I'm a keen Everton supporter who has probably seen better time but live in the belief that we will be successful again.
I work for the co-op bank in the reception of a large call centre doing reception /security work and was previously in the army for six years in the First Royal Tank Regiment, where I spent about four years in Germany and speak reasonable German. I still like to keep up to date with my German and have a German friend who lives near München that I speak to every week on skype and visit every few years .
I will keep this brief as you're probably thinking this prick is boring the arse of me now but hope a few of you will introduce yourselves

Good idea Col.
I'm happy to join in.

My name is Paul Tinker (more commonly known as Tinx), I'm 46 and live in Northwich, Cheshire. Married with 4 kids although only 2 live at home now. They seem to be being replaced by animals but it keeps the missus happy.

I've worked for an advertising agency in Manchester for about 28 years and have risen through the ranks to the point where I'm able to tell people what to do now. A nice change from being told what to do at home.

First went to Old Trafford in about 1976 with my Dad and became obsessed with everything about the place and club. Many years of home, away and abroad had to be reigned in to just my Season ticket and a handful of aways a year over the last 10 years or so.
I enjoyed it when we were shit, loved it when we were brilliant and despair with the negative football on offer at the moment. 4-4-2 and wingers. That's football!!!

Heroes were first Gordon Hill, then Bryan Robson followed by Eric. Nothing about at the moment to get anywhere close to them.

Love Summit and plan to be around for a long time...my teams need time.

Good idea Hamster, Mate, Buddy, Bud Lol! I'm an Arsenal fan since the late 80's. When I was about 12-14 I used go to England with my Dad when he was on business. We used visit as many football grounds as possible when we visited. Managed to organise match tickets for many games.
My 1st match was at Highbury in 1992 I think. Guy Whittingham levelled it up 1-1 near 90 mins. I was devastated Lol!!! Favourite stadium was Millennium in Cardiff when Liverpool played Man United in League Cup final in 2002 or 2003. I went with friends who were supporting both sides. Atmosphere was brilliant.
Anyway that's my ramble nearly over.
As some of you already know I am in the Truck Parts business for over 10 years. Before that I did a Degree in Marketing and worked many part time jobs in between.
I have always loved football. Played 11 a side for many years admittedly at a low level but now I just play My 6 a side once a week.
Sorry for my boring details smile

Ah, Guy Whittingham. I saw him play for Portsmouth in 1990. We were 3-1 down to Leeds at 90 minutes, he scored 2 goals and accidentally put the keeper in hospital.

Sorry, I digress. I'm Cris, I live in South Devon with my wife and 13 year old son (who is a tricky winger who can cross well) and aging lazy deerhound cross. I'm 44 and currently between work positions, I've been a financial adviser since 2006. I started playing SSL in 1993 and had a break from about 1998 to 2004.

I used to run competitively and while I took it seriously and improved a lot it was all low level local stuff. My best distance was half marathon. Now I train in powerlifting and am a bit better at that.

I'm often described as a hippy and while I have a very sensible haircut and no tie-dyed clothes I'm veggie and into animal rights.

I used to follow non league football but am very out of touch with all except my sons local league now. Which is great football!

My random claim to fame is that I was on Rugby Special and was seen on BBC TV getting sent off at Bristol in the 1980s. Less interesting when you consider I was 10 and collecting autographs, not playing.

I know you all intimately now. wink

Graham 44.

The beautiful city of Winchester.

Married 23 years.

3 grown ups. 22, 20 and 16

2 daughters and my lad in the middle. He happens to play for Twyford too but is on loan at Wangding at the mo.

Right now he's just down the road from a few of you at Swansea Uni studying physics.

I work for a charity but will be starting a new job on the 29th at a leisure centre which includes free use of the facilities which is great as I love going to the gym.

Arsenal is my club and my first game was at Highbury in 1978 against Man U. A 0-0 draw I believe. Didn't get much better for a few years apart from 1 FA Cup. I wanted hair like Alan Sunderland after that win.

I used to go a lot in the late 80s as I lived in Islington. Don't go so much now, hardly at all to be honest.

Favourite all time player is a Yugoslav (not sure now) called Vladimir Petrovic. I really liked Lee Dixon too.

Worst ground I went to was Plough Lane. Best is Old Trafford.

I like to read and procrastinate.

I played Steve Davis at snooker in 1987 but lost 87-51.

Cheers for reading.

I work as a delivery driver for a tool company and am a football coach for Cogan corination.

My boy is 9 and plays for Cogan Tigers and S.W.E.S which an academy run by ex pro Mike Fowler now Tamworth assistant. My daughter is 5 going on 15 and will make what hair I have left either fall out or go completely grey very soon.

I support Cardiff city and Manchester United really but Cardiff will always be my first love nothing better than the atmosphere when we beat Leeds in the fa cup.

I tend to call people buddy when typing but not in person sorry Colin.

I collect, sell and buy retro computers and games on facebook mainly but not as involved as I used to be
