Having not read the rules properly I see that a 16/17 year old player now needs 15 appearances to get a boost to 25 whereas it used to be 5 appearances for a boost to 20
Is the 5 appearances thing still applicable or does it have to be 15?

5 games is to boost to 20 no matter what rating
Then it’s another 10 games to get boost
So basically a 1 rated player can boost to 25 playing 15 games

What about the other boost as well, for a 16 yo it says can be boosted by a further 14points( 7 if you’re lucky)
What I’m trying to workout is a 5 rated player who’s played 5 could boost to 20 and then get another 7 points so potential could become 27 rated
Another 11 rated player age 16 that has played 20 could possibly end up going to 25 and then have another 7/14 points added on?

My interpretation was that the new rule re. 15 games replaced the previous rule of 5 games, so don’t think they will qualify for that initial boost if they’ve only played 5.
But they will still get the standard 0-14 (for a 16 year old) up to a maximum of 20 for 5 games played.
