Hello all managers

Not only do we have the Easter holidays coming up when the postal system stops working essentially from the Thursday to the Tuesday but my middle daughter is getting married first week in April so I will be away from Summit HQ for a couple of days. Because of this I cannot set deadlines which would normally be planned for Sat 30th March and Weds 3rd April.

I know it isn't great timing given that the game had to stop recently for a week due to a hardware failure but it is what it is... apologies anyway.

Regarding turnfees, this time last year a 1st class stamp cost 95p. With yet another rise coming at the start of April, the third in 12 months, it will now be £1.35. I would never normally change the turnfee mid-season as that aspect gets looked at each time the season ends however I made it clear in the start of season info that I couldn't absorb any further stamp increases.

I will have to pass on the latest increase of 10p immediately to those who get postal turns raising the turnfee to £3.60. If Royal Mail spring another price hike on us before the current seasons end then that too will have to be passed on. Turnfees will then be reviewed as usual in between seasons, they usually are changed every three years or so.

Note that if you are on the email list to receive turns by email as a pdf attachment then this turnfee change does not affect you. Your turnfee will remain at £3.50 and will only change now and again in between seasons when reviewed. If you would like to switch to email turns then just let me know on your next turn form or via a support ticket.
