You can yes, I sold a young gk who was on 5 weeks. It depends on how much there currently being paid, in reflection of their value. If your player is a young one that has improved and worth considerably more then he was when he last signed. He will reject the move until he has a new contract.

yes,your young GK was sold to me , my player is 32 so not sure why but will give him a new contract first anyway.
Just wondered as if you had a contract rebel he would have to be sold

Yes contract rebels never turned down deals. No matter the club. Players can refuse transfers if its from a premier to div 3 team etc. But very rare a player that old would. What exactly did it say on your turn about deal failing?
