No criticism of Steve, just not sure what a yellow on packing and posting means in practice (if the envelopes haven't been posted or if emails not sent or something else) if someone can let me know if/when they've received their email, I'd be grateful.

Nothing here Bryce, can only assume it will be tomorrow. Really hope it doesn’t affect L3 going out before the weekend. Would be nice to actually have 2 leagues go out in a single week again…

A good point Michael. There are however, 2 days to go so we have hope. Less likely however is a win for Lytham Seasiders, who will if I understand correctly from the fan feedback, be looking for a better performing manager: they are looking at Nathan Jones!

I only change the light to green on 'packing and posting' when the turns have been physically put in the post. The email turns come after but are not counted in the traffic light system ie even if the light is green it doesn't mean that the emailed turns have been sent, just that the postal turns are now with the Royal Mail. Hope that clarifies.
League 2 did go out today but missed the last post. League 3 should go out before the weekend but in any case will have a Monday deadline. I am switching the deadline slots from Tues/Weds and Sat to Mon and Thurs which I hope will help me manage upcoming commitments better and avoid turns being posted on a Friday as postal managers tell me that Saturday deliveries are sketchy at best.
Whilst on the subject of deadlines I will be taking a 4 or 5 day break over Easter as from past experience I know that the postal service grinds to a halt then anyway with posties and others taking leave to coincide with the holiday period for a longer break so the deadlines around then will be pushed forward one notch.

You see I know I shouldn't respond to this stuff... customer is always right and all that and I don't want to offend anyone. But hey I just can't help myself.. it's a customer relations flaw that I have... probably because I don't see you guys as 'customers' but more like people like me that love pbm 
You make it sound like it's rare for two turns to go out in a week. That isn't the case. It's just a false statement. There have been only two weeks this year that two turns haven't gone out and just the one. That hardly justifies your comment and potential new managers read this forum and may be put off by comments like that.
I have made it clear on the traffic lights page that there may be delays at the moment. I have immediate family members in hospital or needing multiple appointments each week, I can't clarify that any further because that's their privacy and shouldn't be posted on the internet. I've worked really hard to keep the delays to a minimum when I would rather catch up on some sleep so it's really disappointing to read comments like this

Firstly Steve, I completely sympathise with your family and their health situations 100% so please don't ever think that is not the case. I am aware of your home situation and I don't feel that even needs to be brought into it here. We all have a life far more important outside of a play by mail football 'game'.
My statement wasn't a dig in any way but it certainly isn't false as it referred to the last week where L2 and 3 were due out the same week and only 1 went out. These are the only two leagues I am represented in. From this you can see what I meant in my comment above although I admit it may not have been clear to you at first and if it wasn't then I apologise for this. It seems you have read into it far more than ever was intended.

I am not trying to undermine you or the game in anyway on the forum and I look forward to L3 by the weekend, I think, as I don't really understand all the deadline stuff moving around as everything can be processed 72 hours after a deadline and in my head I assume 2 turns a week is what you try to stick to.
