Thanks for the response Steve. I'm not sure how the traffic lights help at all really my point is that you put on the support page expected out Monday and then come the Wednesday you haven't done the turn and we are wondering what's happening so it would be nice if you said on the forum, just my opinion, anyway if delays happen as little as you say shouldn't be very often.

Actually I upgraded from the Nokia... it was the flip phone like Star Trek. Can't remember the number.
Now I have a Samsung 3 with a shattered screen as I dropped it years ago that lasts 2 days on battery as long as I don't switch it on

Point is I don't want to create a new forum thread every time a turn doesn't go out when the traffic lights say. I will just change the traffic lights more often so that they are more up to date. That is what they are there for otherwise no point in having them. I can get rid of them and just open threads on here if that is the general consensus?

No I use the internet a lot on my laptop just not on my phone.
I tend to just check the General Discussion thread on here since most of the other postings are about transfers which I can't really have any useful input into and not needed in any case.

I assume it will be done given Steve’s earlier message about his desire to get two turns out a week?
I’m fully expecting League 3 to be sent out tomorrow and as League 1 is due on Saturday, for it to be sent on Tuesday of next week.

I will certainly try and get League 3 out tomorrow (Fri). If it doesn't then the next deadline will be the Monday. It won't affect the next League 1 processing either way.
Give me a break guys, I am doing my best here with stuff going on with the wifes health situation that I would rather not post on a public forum. I'm not sitting around drinking cocktails ignoring Summit because I can't be arsed.. just that there are other things that sometimes take priority at the moment. Hope you understand.

We all completely understand if there are personal issues preventing you from sending the leagues out “on time”. If you need to take a break from the game to deal with them, I’m sure no one would mind at all and you would get plenty of support from us.
Martin’s point is valid, we just want regular updates from you if a league processing is outside of the “on time” of 48 hours from deadline date.
As an example, you updated the traffic lights last night to state League 3 is due to go out “on time” (which is today given the Wednesday deadline), if it doesn’t go out today without an update from you, it’s bound to cause frustration, especially as the next possible day we could get this would be in Tuesdays post.
If you honestly felt it was a challenge to get it done today and Monday was more likely, tell us that yesterday, which will be well received and it will stop us taking time to check the lights today.
Of course, I wish you well on your personal issues and absolutely understand that you don’t want to share these here.

Steve, why don't you reduce the deadline by a day but leave the processing date the same. Most people have done any deals within a couple of days, so you could bring the deadline forward. This then gives you extra time to process the turn 'on time'.
In the event that you get it done early, you can sit on it, waiting to post it on the right date.

Without being too pedantic.. the traffic lights states this League is EXPECTED to out on XXX date. It doesn't say it WILL go out on that date. The traffic lights are there to give you an idea of the progress I am making on each League as I process them. If circumstances change then I can update the traffic lights accordingly.
I thought this would be helpful for managers but maybe it causes more problems than it solves.
I have an all day hospital appoiintment for the wife on Sept 11th so I already know that League 2 Week 5 won't go out on the Friday so it will have to be a Monday deadline. There are more appointments to come, I work around them as best I can whilst still keeping Summit turns going out as fast as I can.

It would be awesome to stick to the deadline but Steve's been open about the fact that they are subject to delays, he's not able to do this full time as it doesn't earn him enough, and there's other stuff going on in his life. We did have some dark days of terrible turnaround times a few years ago and things have been much more tolerable since then.
Perhaps we could have a few light updates Steve? Other than that I think we have to accept that in these technological days of quick responses, we're playing a different type of game.

We know the situation, and we all support and understand Steve regarding his personal issues. All I asked was to be kept updated on here, which Steve has just done, personally think it's much better Steve has come on and said he's busy Friday so L2 is next Monday rather than going on the support page where it still says it's expected to go out on time.
