We have 6 teams - if we get 2 more we can make the knockout a reality. Failing that (as it's not too serious) we could have 3 matches and the highest scoring losing team going to the semifinal draw (or draw lots if it's equal).

I certainly remember this happening before and Fincer was around at that time as was chewy. Not sure who can claim the bragging rights on that one but on Week 24 with most teams out of the cup competitions it's an ideal time to launch as teams involved in a Cup/Trophy game cannot also have a friendly on the same week.

I suggest we do a competition starting next week. I'll do a draw with the above six teams (Carlos, I'll split your two teams and anyone else who has 2).
If we have 3 matches we will also progress the highest scoring loser. If there are 2 equal we'll have the one with most shots on target and then failing that, most shots.
The losers can then play amongst themselves for a second match for a laugh.
If anyone has any concerns about the rules, raise them now. Similarly if you decided not to take part.
If anyone else wants in, claim your place here as I'll do the draw when we get out next turns back.
