Stadiums: You can have more than one stand closed at any one time for construction. I.e you can for example, have your North, West and East all closed. One stand can be closed for works per turn. The old version of the rule book may be a bit unclear on this.

"It doesn't. There is a lot of hidden stuff in the game that is just that... hidden. Otherwise everyone would work everything out.

Since I've let this one slip... it's called Groundsman but it's really a stadium manager... a GRO working on the pitch order code 1 can increase home advantage by a small amount because he is preparing the pitch the way that the home manager wants. I can't honestly tell you by how much.

A GRO working on a Stand increases the state of repair of that Stand (again a hidden factor) and can lessen the decrease in following after a defeat or increase it after a win. Again I cannot honestly tell you how much.

If you have a GRO and a full Stadium every home match you may aswell leave him on the pitch. If you don't and want to increase home following then putting him on a Stand may make a difference.

It's a tricky one this.

All games are allocated a game number in the same turn. Usually the Cup / Trophy / Friendly games are played first but that isn't always the case.

If a player is booked in the first game of the turn then it shouldn't affect the second as the booking doesn't count until the end of the turn.

The anomaly, which is rare, seems to happen when the same player is booked in both games which results in him seemingly 'missing' from the ratings although the programmer who was aware of this bug did assure me it was just a display issue and didn't affect the match result.

Then again I had a manager report this issue as he was 35 ratings light on the printout but had no 35 rated players in the team so I have no explanation for that one dontknow

It's a very rare bug. You can go 20 years without seeing it and if you do then you either accept that the match result was not affected or you put it down to an unfair Ref / VAR decision
