Summit is having a week off so League 1 Week 23 which is due out 13/14 April will be the last turn to be processed before Easter and the game will carry on with League 2 which has a deadline of 21 April
I would have needed a break anyway as I can't seem to shake off this Covid lurgy bug even 12 days on from first testing positive, no appetite, very little sleep, no motivation to actually do anything without forcing myself (stop bleating and just get on with it!) and still testing positive.

Steve. Im very sorry to hear you're yet to make a good recovery. I know a couple who had it and he took over 2 weeks to make any meaningful recovery and is continuing to recover and she was fine in days. It'll take how long it does. A break sounds like the best medicine in the meantime. With my best wishes.

I think we can all live with a week’s break from summit. Seems like you need to recharge your batteries. Hope you start to feel better soon and get that all important negative result. Sounds like you’ve had it quite badly as most people I know have tested positive with no real symptoms.
I guess it effects people differently????
I was recently in hospital for 12 days on an ex-covid ward. They tested me every other day and never had a positive result.

Have a bit of time off
I got Covid in July 21 and now it’s April 22 and I still can’t taste anything,it’s so depressing.
I’m currently suffering with Covid symptoms but not Covid, it’s been a long process and I’m sick of it, thank you for continuing with summit,it keeps me sane at times apart from being manager at Hannah’s in lg1

Sorry to hear you're struggling Gary. Illness can be a terrible thing: it can make you feel quite alone at times and make you want to be alone to protect others from how you feel at others. No easy answers, just best wishes Im afraid and the knowledge that there are millions of others going through just the same. So you're not alone in how you feel really.
We cant help you re Hannahs and being as good as manager as you are, you need no ones help anyway. You'll figure it out. All the best. B

Thanks Bryce,it’s been a very long road for me, I get annoyed with people that don’t think Covid is real
Fortunately I wasn’t hospitalised with it last year, just lost the taste, this week thought I had it again as I’ve been very poorly but it’s only flu, what taste I had back( I could taste salt, marmite and marmalade has gone again so it’s back to textures and no taste. There are other worse off though

It is all very much a pot luck situation with how it affects you. Most people I know have tested positive now and some have been badly but most have had a bit of a sniffle at best. I have never tested positive for it myself but I was rough for the best part of 2 weeks last year so I'm sure I've had it personally. My daughter tested positive but she was ok and I still hugged her etc and I went to a 20k strong festival with no social distancing whatsoever where there were plenty of cases and still I tested negative. I don't think the lateral flow tests are worth the plastic they are made from. I am a bit of a fatty so I feel your pain not being able to taste anything, especially for this long, it must be absolutely awful! All the best to those that have had it/got it and be thankful none of us have been taken out by it yet.

I had covid in November isolated for 10 days then went back in work on the Friday then went Manchester on the Saturday and by Monday I was ill again and positive so I reckon after the 10 days I either hadn't got rid of it fully or I got it twice in a month.
Enjoy your break and hopefully you will be ok when you resume the league's after Easter.

It sounds like you need a break mate.
Rest up, get better and forget about the Summit world for a week whilst we all think about what players to go for in that extra time.

surely if your easter break is until the 20th then surely L2 deadline should have been the 18th so at least it goes on the 21st as with the deadline being the 21st L2 won't get processed until the 26th which will mean only 1 turn for L3 for the whole April which is a pretty poor show.
so summit will shut down from the 14th-26th in reality so nearly 2 weeks not just a week as stated.

I'm not sure of your logic there Col.
I do 2 Leagues a week. I missed out the two deadline slots on 14 and 18 April. So to me that's a week off. All Leagues will have had two deadlines during April instead of the usual three due to the Easter holiday and me currently being a Covid zombie for the past couple of weeks. Thanks for your concern though.
